We’re proud to share that TEN Ltd has signed a landmark $1.3 billion agreement for the construction of nine state-of-the-art DP2 Suezmax shuttle tankers with Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI), of South Korea, backed by a long-term employment contract with Petrobras Transporte S.A.

A landmark moment in this pursuit took place in February 12th, 2025 at the Head Office of the Maria Tsakos Public Benefit Foundation - International Centre for Maritime Research and Tradition in Chios, where a "Declaration of Twinning" was officially signed between the TEENS Merchant Marine Academy and the Naval Academy of Uruguay – Escuela Naval de la República Oriental del Uruguay.

With great pleasure, we share a unique and inspiring moment that took place on Thursday, January 30th, when a dedicated team from the Tsakos Group and the Maria Tsakos Public Benefit Foundation organized an event for more than 350 students from schools in Lamia and Central Greece, connecting via live streaming with other schools across Fthiotida.
